Buyer Scores Home on Detroit's Best Block For $160,000

New, 7 comments

You may remember that we posted about this home on West Canfield Street (Detroit's best block) twice this summer. First we thought it sold within one week, but the home came back on the market when the deal fell through. The second time turns out to have been the charm. After it was re-listed at $175,000 a buyer purchased it for $160,000 on July 24. The three-bedroom Victorian was built in 1892 and had been redone in 1995. It has 1,850 square feet. We are quite jealous of anyone that lives on this cobble-stone street of gorgeous trees and lawns and remind you that we accept any and all house-warming invites.
