Home Ownership Achieved for $4,200 in The Villages

When we first told you about this Cape Cod-style five-bedroom back in February, the ask was $22,800. After a dramatic price-chop down to $9,200 in May, the foreclosed home finally found a buyer. The sale closed on June 26 for a mere $4,200 paid in cash. Jesus. That is cheap. While the outside is adorable we're pretty sure the interior must be a bit of a wreck. The Freep had previously written about this home being a notorious squatter haven. All the same, someone got a slot in a great neighborhood and an opportunity to make sure this place does not fall into the wrong hands again. We'd buy it.
