Freedom of the Press: 1, Highland Park Police: 0

Remember that one time when a Curbed Detroit writer got ticketed for photographing the burning Former Sanders Confectionery Headquarters on Oakman Boulevard? Well, said journalist spent two hours at the Highland Park Courthouse yesterday and, after displaying photographic evidence that all shots were taken from behind the police barricade, the case was dismissed and all charges were dropped (including the 2 points + fine).

The freedom of the press prevails! Thanks for your support loyal readers.
