Michigan Department of Transportation officials are going to announce the completion of the Gateway Plaza project on Friday. All told, it took six years of work, $230 million and plenty of legal wrangling, to connect the toll and truck plaza to the I-96 and I-75 highways in Southwest Detroit. [The Detroit News]
