Comment of the Day

I'm very excited for the influx of residents and retail business the Auburn will be providing midtown. Midtown needs more working class, professionals, and families (DPS, get fixing!!). I remember a little while back someone commented on Curbed that midtown needs more lower-mid income apartments for students. I disagree. I live in a house next to two apartment buildings that are primarily geared to students. Every weekend, the parking lot as at 25% capacity and stays that way until Sunday night. These students don't have any sense of community and run home to hang out with their friends in the suburbs. When they're here, they don't frequent local businesses; opting instead for the corporate chains they are so used to. -Anon [The Auburn Begins Leasing Next Friday for November Move In]
