Buildings and the Ballot

On Wednedsay, Michigan's Supreme Court put a question on the new public bridge to Windsor on November's ballot, and kept one on the proposed eight casinos off it. The court nixed the casino proposal (which would have located four of the eight in Metro Detroit) on the grounds that it didn't let the state review the new facilities' liquor licenses. In addition to the bridge question, the court also approved ones on collective bargaining rights and state tax increases. [Freep]
