Dan Gilbert expects Woodward to be festooned with new retail by the time the M-1 Rail fires up. From what we can tell, his plan involves a coordinated grand opening by new retailers that will align with the light rail's 2015 debut. That sounds like the best day Detroit has seen in a while.
