Table tennis might soon be a permanent fixture on Woodward thanks to Drive Table Tennis Social Club, which has been hosting table tennis matches as sort of a pop-up for the last several weeks. The owners are hoping to keep the space at 1441 Woodward (down in the Merchants Row area) as Drive's permanent home, which requires a bit of cash. To that end, Drive has had an ongoing Kickstarter campaign to help fund the operation and redesign their space, which still bears the scars of having hosted Somerset Collection's CityLoft in 2011. The club's official grand opening isn't until Friday, January 18th, but in the meantime you can get your pong fix 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
