Okay, it's not quite as exciting as Roasting Plant, but it's going to be a long time before new business Downtown doesn't seem like exceptionally good news. Flagstar Bank just opened a new branch in the lobby of One Detroit Center, Detroit's tallest skyscraper behind the Ren Cen. Michigan-based Flagstar is making a concerted effort to establish itself in the city. It recently expanded its branch at University Foods in Midtown, and plans on opening another Midtown branch at an undisclosed location sometime later this year. May we suggest one of the Auburn's several vacant storefronts? [Freep]
