Since Dan Gilbert bought the Federal Reserve Building nearly two years ago, the property has been swarming with workers. The transformation has been dramatic--windows have been enlarged, the bulletproof ante chamber removed, Yamasaki's gardens redesigned, and some curious alterations have taken place on the roof. Early renderings hinted at a roof deck, and our fingers have been crossed.
Strangely, the roof is where we found the staff of ROSSETTI. In the midst of a celebration, ROSSETTI let us briefly crash the party for a look inside. As the Federal Reserve Building's lead design firm and inaugural tenant, it looks like they have good reason to celebrate.
