The historic Graphic Arts building has a roomy studio renting for $995/month. You can't beat the location near TechTown, though all that concrete and granite might get a little chilly in the winter. (Perhaps they'll throw in a pair of slippers at the lease signing.) Between the kitchen cabinets and the closet, this loft has an impressive volume of storage space for an 800-square-foot unit. The giant, double-paned windows are also a perk. Hopefully they're able to dampen the noise from Wayne State's massive construction project a few feet away.
