Exposed Brick and 16' Ceilings in the Lofts at New Amsterdam

New, 11 comments

The Lofts at New Amsterdam are within what was originally known as the Caille Brothers Building, a factory that produced penny slot machines starting in the early 1900s. Along with the Graphic Arts building nearby, it now serves as a large chunk of New Center's loft inventory. This particular 1,600 sq/ft unit contains two sizble bedrooms, two bathrooms, and some glorious 16' ceilings. Other perks include the granite countertops and new appliances installed in a relatively recent remod. This building leaves renters on their own for utilities, but the heating bill shouldn't be too outlandish: all of the windows are brand new. That's good news, as the rent isn't too cheap: $1875/month.
