Grace of India Opening This Week in Midtown

New, 13 comments

Midtown shall have its own Indian restaurant by Thursday, which will fill up the final space in that dreary brown strip mall on Second Avenue. Known as Grace of India, the restaurant is owned by Salman Sufyan and Abedullah Alaswadl, the same duo who opened the adjacent La Hookah Town just last month. The pared-down menu will feature popular Indian favorites, though beer-oriented customers should head to the Bronx Bar just across the street as Grace of India won't be seeking a liquor license. The restaurant can't offer much for in-house dining—the space it occupies is quite small—but there will be local delivery available.
