Michigan Central Station's edge-of-your-seat window drama continues! Yet another (third row down on the right) of MCS's hundreds of window holes is now occupied by something very much resembling a window, though there's always the possibility that we're looking at plywood painted to resemble a window. Completed sometime this past weekend, the installation of Window #3 comes over a month after Corktown was rocked by the surprise installation of Windows #1 and #2. The Moroun family's continued silence on the window situation doesn't make sense, but the new window's smaller size than the initial two has us hoping that professionals are simply learning how to best restore the station's range of sizes before beginning work in earnest. Let's cross our fingers.
