Welcome To Curbed Detroit's Inaugural Game of Cornerspotter

New, 4 comments

Cornerspotter is a game played occasionally on other Curbed sites, and it goes like this: We post an archival photo of a streetscape/building. Sometimes there will be clues. The first commenter to correctly identify that location is the champion. Simple enough, right? For the inaugural round of Cornerspotter in Detroit, we have for you a 1970s-era photo of a sign that says "Corner." So literal! If the sign's contents ring no bells, look at its unique shape and know that it's still in that same spot today. Resist the temptation to Google. Look for the location and backstory to be revealed tomorrow. Let the games begin!
