A Colorful Panoramic of Campus Martius a Century Ago

New, 1 comment

Historic images of Campus Martius are a dime a dozen, but seeing one in color is mesmerizing. HuffPo Detroit brings us the work of graphic designer, EMT, and nursing student Ryan Urban, who used Photoshop to colorize this panoramic photo from the early 20th century (full-sized images via HuffPo). It took 585 layers of different colors (and we're guessing several cans of Red Bull), but the result is a fascinating look on the history of Detroit's most prominent public space.
