Pennies for Parks

New, 4 comments

Thanks to a combination of free money and voluntary labor, the Detroit will be able to keep all of its parks open this summer. While 119 parks are being "adopted" by volunteers, the city is maintaining (chopping up the litter with a tractor every few weeks) the others through with help from a variety of corporate donors. Might we see a Manny Moroun Park or an AOL Playfield sometime soon? [Det News]
