In some exciting Novi news, the former site of the short-lived Novi Expo Center is seeing a new development called Adell Towers. The goal: one tower for a major hotel chain; the other will function as an office building/tech center/medical center, depending on how things pan out later. The Free Press has a video clip in which owner Kevin Adell seems unsure (but optimistic!) about the office tower's purpose, describing it as the future home to "Some sort of a high-tech. Like maybe a Google." Plans call for two 8-10 story towers and a vast parking lot, with a final price tag of about $100 million. Don't expect Google Novi to move in anytime soon, however: the project could take up to five years to complete.
