Cafe 1515 Has an Incentive for Potential Wurlitzer Buyers

New, 1 comment

When you spend every day knowing that bricks might rain down very near your person, sometimes all you can do is laugh. This image pinged our inbox from just outside 1515 Cafe, located in the shadow of the crumbling Wurlitzer Building. Like at the Book Tower and the Industrial Bank buildings (to name a few), a protective shelter shields pedestrians from an unwanted haircut. Last we heard, the Wurlitzer wasn't technically on the market, but it also didn't sound like the negligent Wurlitzer owners were against hearing offers. Though haven't been able to get ahold of anyone at Cafe 1515 to confirm the sign's origins. Thick Air Studios appears to have a hand in it.
