Raising its Price, West Canfield Victorian in Foreclosure, Denial

New, 12 comments

Another chapter has unfolded with West Canfield's unsellable Victorian beauty. It turns out, February's crazy, CAPS-filled pricechop of $80K was a sort of last-ditch effort to sell the place before it slid into foreclosure. That failed to do the trick, and the new ownership has brought the price back up from $100,00 to $113,900. Keep in mind, this house was asking an optimistic $185,00 last August. It's divided into five separate one-bedroom apartments. Details if its condition have always been sketchy. Luckily, commenters have filled in the gaps, telling us that some considerable work is needed to bring this house into shape.
