Major League Baseball would like to turn Tiger Stadium into a youth baseball training facility. Sounds like a very appropriate use for such a historic site, right? An MLB rep has flown to Detroit to try and make it work, but mighty George Jackson of the Detroit Economic Growth Corp has already declared the deal dead.
