Chinatown's Ask Has Dropped $185,000 Since November

New, 13 comments

The sellers of Detroit's former Chinatown seem increasingly eager to offload their sketchy slice of Midtown, dramatically deflating the ask by $100K. For those who haven't followed along, let's reminisce. Shuttered at least a decade ago, this former restaurant caught our attention last November. Sellers were asking a lofty $485K back then, but adjusted their ambitions down to $400K by January. Today's ask is all the way down at $300K. How low might she go, commenters? We're told the building is a dump, with a bad roof to boot. None the less, we'll continue advocating for someone to make it into a restaurant with outdoor seating under all those Honey Locust trees.
