We have another listing in the Mies van der Rohe co-ops, and this one is not playing games with its asking price. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom townhouse would like to start things off at $130K, placing it solidly among the highest initial asking prices these co-ops have seen. One can't be surprised: Prices in Lafayette Park have blasted off — the nation's more recent real estate frenzy is just icing of the cake. Neighboring units weren't selling for anything above $95K last fall. There doesn't seem to be much to note about this unit specifically, aside from some blurry interior pics and the realtor's mention of "some original amenities." The floors, perhaps?
