New, 35 comments

The Historic DIstrict Commission meeting is tonight at 5:30, and we all know what the star item on the agenda is: The proposed demolition of the State Savings Bank by owner Andreas Apostolopoulos (who also owns the the Silverdome, Penobscot, and has his eyes on Fail Jail). Why demolish a building so lovely? PARKING GARAGE, of course. Naturally, Curbed will be LIVE on site, live blogging (heckling) the proceedings and results. Tune in around 5:30 PM as we begin coverage.
