We recently published some renderings found taped to a wall at Cafe con Leche's future storefront in New Center. The designer behind those renderings was Noah Resnick of the design firm Urban Detail, who hit us with more info and a better image of the coffee shop's proposed interior. His plan actually calls for the storefront to have its own exterior door to West Grand Boulevard (it's currently only accessible from the lobby), allowing for some outdoor seating right in front. And those dizzying shapes and patterns? Resnick explains: "The color palate and geometric motifs are drawn from various urban elements of Barcelona, one of the owner's hometown."
