Ever since scrappers went after Hart Plaza in January, the Horace E. Dodge and Son Memorial Fountain has been depressingly dry. No longer! Tipster Mark took the above photo earlier today, revealing that the fountain's eight-month drought has come to an end. January's vandalism attack managed about $1M worth of damage (they went after the bathrooms as well), and it was just a couple months ago that the Detroit Recreation Department admitted they didn't have the the cash for repairs. Is this the work of that same group that repaired the Grand Circus Fountains?
