Fitness Center Moving Into Vacant Restaurant Space Downtown

New, 41 comments

When Curbed recently took a field trip to the Security Trust Lofts, we were pleasantly surprised to find a huge, unused commercial space on the ground floor. Once home to a restaurant, the space has an elegant staircase leading up to a mezzanine. Now, the 4,000-square-foot storefront is rumored to have been leased by a chain fitness center. Exactly which chain isn't so clear; but the tips are all either Life Time Fitness or Anytime Fitness. A name-brand fitness center would be pretty cool in a downtown often criticized for its lack of walkable amenities.
