Supersized Cat Freaks Out Residents in Northeast Detroit

New, 8 comments

The streets of northeast Detroit might be even more dangerous than usual: Several sightings of a "big cat" have been reported, and many residents of the Greenbriars neighborhood fear the "supersized" feline is an exotic, human-munching breed (the Freep's pic of the cat certainly looks worrisome). The Humane Society thinks the beast could be a cast-off pet, and plans on "putting some effort" into catching the thing. Last summer, the east side produced three alligators, one of which escaped into the Detroit River after invading an apartment complex.
