The Fisher Canyon is a reclaimed space off of Lincoln Street, just south of New Center. A project of Green Living Science, the Lincoln Street Art Park and volunteers, the canyon is a narrow pathway between two elevated railway tracks, kind of the inverse of the Dequindre Cut's setup. Armed with a bulldozer, volunteers cleaned out 20 years worth of garbage to reveal old brick pavers underneath. The space is home to street art, benches, and a garden. It's named for its views of the Fisher Building. Checkout MLive for more photos and video.
