Working on the Railroad

New, 23 comments

Work is underway to make the Amtrak trip between Detroit and Chicago far more tolerable. Thirty miles of track is being replaced, allowing the Wolverine's top speed to finally surpass that of an old tractor. Once complete, the new track will shave 2 hours off the trip, taking it down to about 4.5 hours of travel. [CBS]
