This apartment building on Seward already went through a round of bids in the Wayne County tax auction. In September someone bid $152,000 for it. But somehow that deal fell through and it went for more money in the second round of bidding, where the minimum bid was $500. In an auction that ended yesterday, the building took $211,000 as the final bid. Someone paid $535,000 for it in 2007. Hopefully this time the deal sticks and the building heads for a transformation. New Center is the next Midtown. In the meantime, follow the Why Don't We Own This bidding page to see what else folks are bidding on.
