It's just some demo work, but here is evidence that the Packard Plant is starting on its very, very long and expensive journey to redevelopment. Bought in the foreclosure auction last year for $405K, new owner Fernando Palazuelo didn't officially get the deed until January. So here, around the 10th month of ownership, he kicked off work last Friday. Dapper dresser Palazuelo plans to build apartments, retail, space for high-tech entrepreneurs, light industrial operations and artist studios. Be sure to appreciate the redevelopment mini billboard.
