Somewhere between New Center and Hamtramck, an auction bidder has won an intriguing commercial property. This 20,000 square foot structure is one of the most expensive things sold in the current round of the Wayne County Tax auction, fetching a final bid of $131,000 by the time bidding ended yesterday. The 1908-built building conveniently located right near an entrance to I-75 was last sold for $225,000 in 2007. Covered in patchy graffiti, the building still emits potential. It was used for industrial, institutional or commercial purposes in the past but what's to come is unknown. Perhaps it could be a cool music venue? What would you do with it?
