The former site of a gas station on Grand River across from Motor City Casino is now a little park with trees. The Casino/Ilitches own this land where a gas station was demolished in August. It may eventually become over-flow parking for Motor City Casino (don't they have a giant parking deck?) but for now it seems to be growing a few Christmas trees. Who is betting that they get flashing multi-colored lights come December?
