Time-Lapse Demolition: Watch a Hungry Excavator Feast on an Old Garage

Demolition used to be an exciting process, but not so much anymore. Gone is the era of wildly-swinging wrecking balls and unpredictable collapses. These days, excavators gently tickle buildings into submission.
Speed up time, however, and the process looks much more primal. Here we have video taken last week on Charlotte Street, where crews demolished two historic garages in the Arena District.
