Whether it was building out Willys or greening an alley, the Shinola mothership in Detroit spent the majority of 2014 surrounded by construction. Don't expect 2015 to be any quieter. Sometime next year, Shinola plans to expand its operations on Canfield Street to accommodate a 2,000-square-foot manufacturing space., which will eventually churn out the colorful dials seen on the Shinola line of watches. No word on when the new construction will break ground.
