Gloomy Midtown Alley Reborn as a Pedestrian Pathway

Alley conversions make for interesting before/after shots, so let us revisit the green alley project between Willis and Canfield in Midtown. Construction began in April/May, transforming a space used to stash dumpsters into a pleasant cut-through for pedestrians (and dogs, since the alley's northern terminus is adjacent to the new dog park). This is Midtown's second green alley, though similar conversions are planned between 2nd and 3rd streets, along with a smaller spur off of Forest.
