The Ashley, a soon-to-open apartment building in a former hotel, has leaked several new interior photos ahead of a grand opening in February. While downtown Detroit is full of garishly bedazzled apartments designed to attract younger renters (we're looking at you, Village Green) the Ashley keeps it classy and simple. With 15 different layouts, the building's flatiron shape and unique windows give the units plenty of personality at a relatively low rate for a brand new apartment. In fact, over half of the available floor plans are available for $1,000/month or less. Others are only slightly more expensive.
