ROYAL OAKMI Cocktail Culture is a new event coming to the Royal Oak Farmer's Market on April 5th, hosted by Bailout Productions and Liquid Events Detroit, and featuring craft cocktails from a dozen restaurants and bars from throughout Detroit and Metro Detroit.

MIDTOWN— After several months in business The Grille Midtown is ushering in spring with a brand new Sunday brunch. They started last weekend and will be serving classics and soul food inspired dishes, along with some unusual brunch cocktails (think jalapeno margaritas) from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. each week.

WEST VILLAGE— The Ferndale coffee shop The Red Hook has been working on their West Village location for quite a while at this point, but they finally announced their plans to open on June 1st.

SOUTHWEST—A brand new restaurant is in the works for Southwest Detroit, location yet to be determined. Tunde Wey, of Revolver in Hamtramck, shared details about his new restaurant concept Goldfinch American with Eater Detroit. It's going to be sophisticated cuisine in a relaxed setting, hopefully opening this summer. Pop ups will begin weekly starting at the end of this month.
