The future home of Gold Cash Gold has emerged from its pawn shop cocoon. The building's ground floor facade was recently ripped off, revealing its innards and the beginnings of the new exterior. With a continually pushed back ETA, Gold Cash Gold has built itself up to be Detroit's most hotly-anticipated anything. Perhaps the restaurant's recent $200K grant was the extra push they needed. GCG is now expected to open this fall, and Eater has hints about the future menu. As for the building itself, we were pleasantly surprised to review how much change has occurred over the last few years. You might be, too.
