The Z Lot's Commercial Space Already Has an Anchor Tenant

New, 28 comments

Despite having opened just a few months ago, the Z Lot already has a major commercial tenant: Punch Bowl Social (PBS). With outposts in Denver, Portland, and Austin, PBS is mash-up of food, alcohol, and arcade/bar games complimented by eight lanes of bowling. It's like an adult Chuck E. Cheese, maybe.

PBS promises to eat up a significant portion of Z Lot's 36,000 square feet of commercial space, with the average location taking up about two-thirds that amount. PBS will move into space facing Broadway Street. According to the Free Press, Gilbert hinted that a yoga studio could be the Z's next big announcement.

The Freep describes PBS' interior as "a blend of rustic mountain lodge, raw industrial elements, and some mid-century modern touches." That might sound like a mess, but there is hope. Head over to Eater Portland, which toured that city's PBC before it opened last summer. Detroit's location plans to open this November.
