Timmy's Tacos are One of a Kind; Wine Deals for the Whole Week; More

BIRMINGHAM— Chef Nick Janutol has a love of great food, and he's secretly serving lunch at The Forest Grill during the week despite their decision to focus solely on dinner service several weeks ago. The catch? Lunchtime diners have to eat what he prepares, no menus and no substitutions. So far, they're loving it.

SOUTHFIELDSavor Detroit starts on Monday, and the first night will feature James Rigato (of The Root) and David Gilbert (of Marais). They spoke to Eater about collaboration, multi-chef dinners, and what it will take for Detroit to become a renowned food city.

WALLED LAKE—The very first Seasoned Chefs Dinner took place this week at C.A.Y.A. Smokehouse Grill, hosted by Chef/Owner Jeff Rose. The chefs highlighted spring ingredients for this dinner, but forthcoming events (one per season) will showcase the best of summer, fall, and winter.

DETROIT— Local chef Craig Lieckfelt of Guns + Butter is going to be featured, along with several new and classic Detroit eateries and personalities, on an upcoming episode of Vice's Munchies. Look for Lafayette, Larry Mongo, Andy Hollyday, Supino, and more.
