Detroit's revamped strategy to auction off neglected homes is generating a huge amount of interest, with over 6,000 people registered to bid. As we type, the city is announcing an expansion of the program to neighborhoods beyond East English Village. The big difference: The houses are big. Several classic Boston-Edison behemoths are auction-bound, including a monster with seven bedrooms. Even a historic duplex in Woodbridge joins the party.
