Five months after the ceremonial ground-breaking, the new Lawrence Tech design center is finally coming to life. The mixed-use building will will appear in a dusty lot on Woodward and Willis, bringing LTU students and possibly a restaurant along with it. Expect construction to continue for most of the year. On a side note, it looks like workers are digging up a fair amount of debris, including two huge cement chunks. Could they be remains of the famous Graystone Ballroom?
