[Exterior Arena Renderings by ThreeSixty Architecture; Interior View by Dennis Allain Renderings]
The more dazzling big reveal of what the new Red Wings arena will look like happened in July, but today we get a few more views of the actual stadium. One of the them is paying tribute to the Packard Plant by seemingly being on fire. City council will get a look at them up close on Thursday but you, dear friends, need not wait.
The $450M new home for the Detroit Red Wings is expected to break ground September 25. It is part of a $650 million, 45-block redevelopment. The 785,000-square-foot arena will be surrounded by four- and five-story mixed use buildings.
