Today at the corner of Woodward and Sibley there was a media hoopla to for the new Red Wings arena groundbreaking. The speakers included Chris Ilitch, son of Marion and Mike who own the Red Wings and founded Little little Caesar's Pizza. His parents were not there, but Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, Michigan Governor Rick Snyder, and Detroit City Council Member George Cushingberry were. Curbed Detroit attended, tweeted a lot, and spelled many names wrong. We apologize for that.
