Announced two years ago, the renovation of the Strathmore Hotel has been on very, very slow roll. Last December we reported that construction would start in spring 2014, but nada. Today a tipster excitedly sends in a photo showing three lights on the exterior building, with bulbs burning bright and some demo equipment parked in the lot.
