Not so long ago, the boarded-up Tushiyah United Hebrew School was hidden behind overgrown trees and shrubbery. But then it was sniffed out by Hosey Development, and a$6.9M apartment conversion is beginning is beginning to boil within.
Outside, the greenery has become a muddy construction site and the building is full of new (or possibly restored) windows. Inside, it looks like things are in the rough framing stage. The original construction schedule called for 25 units (mostly one-bedrooms) to be ready sometime this year, so we're expecting an uptick in activity as the building season approaches.
