Tomorrow afternoon, Matthew Stafford and Mitch Albom will announce a $10M public-private partnership that will bring a "new use" to the vacant Lipke Recreation Center in NE Detroit. The plan is said to include educational programing, new outdoor athletic fields, and an indoor practice space. Shuttered by budget cuts in 2013, Lipke is surrounded by 15 acres of park space.
