Wayne State Flirts With Idea of Moving B-School Downtown

For the last few years, the Wayne State School of Business Administration has dreamt of ditching its Yamasaki-designed digs in Midtown and constructing a new headquarters closer to downtown Detroit. With approximately 500 students and staff (according to the Princeton Review), the school has been quite the development tease for downtown's real estate kingpins. According to the Detroit News, Dan Gilbert already offered WSU his crown jewel: the former Hudson's site. At the moment, however, WSU is cozying up with the Ilitch Organization for a possible development within the Arena District. Whose real estate will the school call home? Stay tuned.
